Tell Your Legislator to Advance Reproductive Freedom for All Women!
This month marks the anniversary of the FDA's approval to allow Plan BŪ, also known as the "morning-after" pill, to be sold over the counter in pharmacies across the nation - an important victory in the fight for women's health. In North Carolina, the Compassionate Care for Victims of Sexual Assault bill was introduced in the House and Senate this year. This bill would require hospitals and urgent care facilities to provide information and access to Plan B on-site to victims of sexual assault and incest. Even though this bill had bi-partisan support and had 39 co-sponsors, it was never heard. Please contact your legislators and tell them how disappointed you are that this bill was not heard and urge them to support this legislation next session!
